Caesar watched as the bird flew. "What's his name?" he asked. Surely they wouldn't be calling him "Bird" for the whole trip at sea. His eyes glanced down at the pouch that she protected, wondering for a moment what it held, but let it go. The Pirate looked back up at Aaron. She almost looked like a boy. "Let me see you walk." he said.

Alaya watched the Raven. "I never named him" She said. Alaya looked at the man for a moment. Walk? She really had no idea that there was a difference between how men and women walked. "Show me" She said.

The man nodded. "Walk." he repeated, and then stepped several meters the way he usually would. "Like that." he said. "Let me see you walk." He turned to look at her, waiting. He thought about the Raven. Never named him? He would need a name. Soon. Even if it was just a short name. Like a nickname.

Alaya watched how he walked. She moved froward placing one foot in front of the other. Her arms swung lightly at her side. The Raven came back and landed on her shoulder this time with a light cream colored shell in it's beak. she stopped and took the shell. With a smile she put the new shell in her bag at her hip. "Need to work on the walk right?" She asked the man.

"Just a bit." he said. "Walk lightly, but not daintily. Try not to bounce your heels too much when you walk. It makes you look too feminine. Walk with a sense that you are proud. As if you were a King. Try it." he said, walking back to his original spot. He stroked the bird on his wings. "Does he bring you anything you want, or just shells?" he asked. If the bird could bring back treasure, it would make Aaron popular among the other Pirates.

Alaya nodded at his advice and tried to copy his actions and follow what he said. It was tricky since she was used to the other way. This would take some practice. She looked at the Raven. "Well he can bring me other things as long as he can carry them but I prefer shells" She said. It was true shells to here was like gold to a pirate.

"If he can bring back coins, he can help you to get to the crew's good side. You don't want to be on the bad..." he said. Caesar looked down at the ship. "Come on." he said. "Follow me. It's time that you got your sea legs. Without them, you'll look like a fool." Caesar began to walk towards the ship. From there, they could take the little boat out on the ocean for a bit. He would make her walk around the boat and gain balance.

Alaya smiled it was about time she got on a boat again. She knew she would get used to it quickly since the sea was in her blood. She slipped her hand in the seashell pouch and pulled out a purple shell that was usually only found at Clearwater Lagoon. It was the only thing she had of her mother. She always held it when she went to the sea. It was like second nature. The shell fit sung in the palm of her hand and she could hid it from others.

Caesar lead her up the ramp and over the deck, eventually finding the tiny row boat on the side. He helped her in and then climbed in himself and began to lower the ropes until they hit the water. Once there, he rowed out a ways, where the waves were about equal what they normally were on a journey. "Okay." he said. "Now stand up." Caesar told her, putting his hands on the side of the boat to keep it steady and prevent it from going belly-up. His bare toes dug into the wood, and he could almost feel the familiar water beneath the boat.

Alaya got on the boat with a large grin. She loved the water and salt air. When she was told to stand she did so. It was easy to gain her balance. She walked around the boat. It was as if she was waling on land. No, this was better. She felt at home. Oh how she wanted to dive beneath the waves. She looked at the man. "So what do you think. Am I a so called land lover or someone fit to sail the seas?" She asked in a teasing voice.

Caesar roared with laughter. "LAND LOVER?" he repeated, rolling backwards. The boat rocked with him. "Do you mean landlubber?" he asked, still chuckling. "And no, you're not fit for sailing yet. Can you ride out a storm?" he asked, and without warning, began to shake the boat violently. To and fro, like a kite in a hurricane.

Alaya laughed with him. She had to brace herself for am moment when he rocked the boat. As soon as she felt the way the boat rocked and how the water moved under it she was able to hold her stance and even mover around. Waves and the ocean were her life and soul.

"Excellent." he said, and then jumped up, his body slamming against the bench of the boat. "Now jump!" he exclaimed, dong it again and trying to throw her off balance. "Come on! Jump! Jump!" he said, slamming himself into the boat each time. It rocked from side to side, even threatening to capsize. Such a thing was dangerous to do, especially if Alaya joined him. But Pirates had no regard for safety. They simply did what they wanted. They would be fine, though.

Alaya did what the man said. The boat rocked dangerously. Sea water lapped into the boat. She shook her head. This was crazy. The shell fell out of her hands. She quickly reached for it but the water moved it closer to the man. Great she thought what now. I can't use my abilities in front of a human.

Caesar rocked the boat the other way once the water came. He held his hands out to steady the boat. But now something purple was lying in his lap. "What's this?" he asked, holding up the little shell. He turned it over, examining it. He hadn't seen anything like it before. "Here, you keep it." he said, handing it back to her. A sailor had no use for shells. He preferred to keep his lucky coin around his neck, anyway. The man began to row back towards the ship. "I think you'll manage well enough aboard." he said. "What you don't know, you'll learn quickly."
