There is an Ocean in my soul where the waters do not curve.
As calmly as the quiet wind blew, a young brunette walked along the shores of The Black Shore. Typical young women didn't really hang out around these parts of the kingdom, but Misty needed to see the ocean. She needed to look at the ocean and find that hope that maybe her crew was somewhere out there, that maybe Pete was still alive. Putting her arms behind her back, Misty gazed solemnly out at the sea, just wondering. She kicked her boots in the dark sand, making an indent in the ground. She picked her head back up, her turquoise eyes starring out into the ocean, her mind following.

Alaya walked along the shore of the golden sea. She breathed in the salty sent of the water and kept her eyes on the beach. She was wearing the boy cloths. A dark filthy shirt and torn pants. She still had on the black bandanna to cover her tightly pined up hair. Her raven was perched on her shoulder. She wasn't a sea hound yet but she could at least be near the sea. She noticed a girl not too far off. She walked up to her but still kept a good distance. "Hi" She said in a lower voice than she usually used.

Sighing, Misty set her eyes on the sand once more, closing them for a moment as she strayed from her thoughts back to reality. As she snapped back into what was actually happening, Misty heard gentle footsteps on the sand. She turned her head slightly, noticing a figure walking towards her. The person was dressed like a boy, but the face was much too pretty to be male. She noticed the raven sitting upon the person's shoulder as she, Misty assumed, came closer. Hi, the person greeted her. Misty would've guessed pirate, if she had to place a label on the person. Misty set her turquoise eyes on the speaker, a bit cautious, though she didn't think the person meant any harm. "'lo," Misty greeted, her Irish accent thick and apparent.

Alaya noticed the girl wasn't from around the area due to her accent. She nodded to her. The Raven watched the girl closely. "What brings you to these waters?" She asked. Alaya was trying to start a conversation and seem friendly.

Misty's turquoise eyes strayed to the pitch black bird on the shoulder of the person, whom she assumed, was a girl. It was a lovely bird, matching the hair colour of the girl who was speaking to her. What brings you to these waters? A smile flickered on Misty's lips. She loved the sea, what could she say? "The sea gives me hope," she replied simply, with a small shrug in her shoulders. Hope was the only thing that Misty had to hold onto anymore. It was the only thing keeping her alive. That, and the fact that she was free.

Alaya smiled. Hope. That was one word that described everything at times. She knelt down on the sand and picked up a light blue shell. She ignored the gold and what not as usual. She moved it in her fingers. "The sea gives some more that hope. For others it is the holder of out very soul" She whispered.

This time, the smile stayed. Misty watched the other girl as she bent down to pick up a small blue shell. It was comforting, to know that even in a place like this, there was still beauty in the world. "Well spoken," Misty mumbled, looking at the girl. "I'm Misty," she introduced herself. Misty was the only name she ever felt suited her. Juliette. Her birth name. It was frilly and girly. Proper. A name for a princess. Though, Misty was a princess by birth, she was a pirate by nature.

Alaya looked out to the sea. She was Aaron now not Alaya. She still had to get used to that. "I'm called Aaron" She said her eyes still on the sea. The Raven still watched the girl as if knowing that she knew something.

Again, a smile flickered on Misty's lips, and then faded quickly. Even though the person introduced itself as Aaron, Misty still thought that it was actually a women underneath the dirty, baggy clothes and messy appearance. Misty didn't blame her, for trying to blend in. Piracy wasn't exactly a respected profession, especially if you were female. There was a crew of well-known female pirates, called the Sirens, but Misty had never had a run-in or anything with them. "Aaron? All right. What brings you here?" Misty asked casually.

Alaya shrugged her shoulders. She came for the sea. For the smell, the sound. The water here wasn't at all like the water where the Siren's lived and where she used to live but it was still the sea. "I came to be close to the sea" She said.

Misty nodded. That was a good of a reason as any. Many people around here were drawn to the sea. It was strange, how some people hated the smell of the salty air, yet Misty couldn't get enough of it. She looked over at "Aaron". Misty would play along, for now. Aaron seemed nice enough that Misty wasn't going to immediately point out the fact that she was a girl. "Do you live here?" Misty asked

Alaya shook her head. "No I used to live in Liquorpool but now the sea is my home" She said. That was true. She would never live in that town again. She looked at the girl. "What about yourself?"

Misty shrugged. "I was born in Ireland," she said. That'd be all the history she'd give anyone that involved her life before the sea. "I live on the sea now as well...at least I used to," she said. Ever since she'd washed up on shore of Fox Kingdom, she hasn't found a new crew or ship. Ideally, she'd like to find her own ship, and sail the seas, searching for the Nave Sommersa, but that was a longshot.
