Damian howled in pain. His back leg was hurt bad. Damian couldn't hold on for much longer. That was when he was grabbed by the neck. Damian Howled again but this one was horrible. Like something was dieing. Damian released his grip on the lion. He couldn't hold on anymore and neither did he want to. If this was dragged out Damian would most likely transform. Damian was in trouble deep trouble. Damian reached around and nipped at the lion's face. Hopfully he would drop him.

Caesar grunted as the fangs cut his face. But he didn't let go. The pain was nothing compared to his leg. He stood there for a moment, as if the agony might leave. But it didn't. He tried to focus his attention on the gash on his face. Where was it? He tried to pinpoint exactly where he was bleeding from. After a little while, he realized just how close the Chupacabra had come to his eyes. The gash bled from his brow. Caesar sighed. At least he wasn't blind. The creature in his jaws, he could tell, was almost ready to quit. So he squeezed harder, as if to convince it not to pull any ideas. He turned to Sirinity, searching for guidance whether to kill it or not.

Sirinity watched the fight. It was horrible what this monster was capable of. Sirintiy couldn't take it anymore. The lion was getting hurt. That's when the tides turned. The lion had the monster by the neck. It was just dangling there but it wasn't dead. Sirinity looked at the lion as she got up. The thing was after her. That was certain. But with her ability she should be able to stay away right? Sirinity didn't really want to see blood.

Caesar looked at her, and then dropped the creature. He pinned it against the ground with both paws between its shoulder blades. His strength was superior to the Chupacabra. He could hold it there. He looked again to the girl, wondering what she wanted him to do with it. Uncertain, he let lose a powerful, triumphant roar. Either way, he had won.

Sirinity looked at the lion as he pinned the creature down. She could tell he was hurt. Sirinity didn't want the lion to kill it. Even though it had tried to kill her first. Sirinity walked over but she stayed a few feet away from the two. She still didn't like that creature. "Don't kill it please......" Sirinity said moving closer to the lion.

Caesar looked down at it. Should he let it go? He wondered, but couldn't find an answer. If he let it go, would it run? He hoped it would. But what if it tried to kill her again? It was a Chupacabra after all. Caesar wasn't going to take the chance. He wanted Sirinity to come closer to him. He wanted to carry her up to the cliff again and show her the crystals. The night was clear, and the moon would be glowing on them. It was legend, and rare. Unfortunately, they were burdened with this beast. He reached down and bit the ear of it, hard enough to pierce. The message was clear enough. Truce, for now. Accept it or die.

The creature in Damian understood perfectly. He growled his aproval and acceptance. The growl wasn't deep or menacing but as close to a pur as the creature could get. It waited for the lion's responce. The creatures mind was set. Her understood that this girl was taken and he had no control. The creature growled again signaling his defeat in the matter. Damian was true to his word at least. He wouldn't not bother the girl again......At least not in his demon form.......

Caesar let go and nearly the threw the creature away from him. He limped his way back to Sirinity, and sat at her feet. He faced the Chupacabra... thing. He didn't trust it. His eyes went up to the girl beside him, trying to read her emotions. Unable to really see her face, he licked her fingers gently. She could get on his back if she wanted, and he would keep her safe.

Sirinity hadn't really relized how cold she was until the fight was over. She watched as the creature darted off it's hind leg glimmering with blood. Siri shook. She placed her arm around the lion as she slid to the ground. It was hard to move because of the cold. Siri placed her head against the lion and rubbed her head against him. She cried into his coat. Though she honestly didn't know what she was crying about.....

He let her cry, and one paw slid over her back, almost like a human embrace if you got past the fact that he was feline. He licked the top of her head and helped her up onto his shoulders. She was like ice. Carrying her now was harder with his leg, but he could still manage. Now that the creature's fangs had left the wound, the snow was numbing the pain. He had to get her to a warmer place. He let her lay down against his neck, and he kept one of her hands in his mouth to keep her from falling off. He breathed his hot breath over her wrist, hoping to warm her up if he could. He knew where he was going, back up to the ledge until her tears stopped, and then, to the cave. But they had to get there, first.

Sirinity let the lion pull her onto his back. It was warm and she was happy. She pulled in closer to the lion. Siri knew that the lion was injured and that she should help him but for some reason SIri was really tired. Siri stopped crying though she couldn't tell the sleeping sign wasn't good. Siri fought against her eyelids. But in the end she lost. The last thing she saw was the beautiful crystals.... and oddly Caesar's face.
