He let her lean against him for a moment before laying her carefully back down again in her little cocoon of blankets. He took a breath to calm himself. He was so relieved that she was actually awake, he suspected he got a little carried away. He caressed her face with a gentle hand that had known many a working day. "Don't you dare go back to sleep." he urged her. "Stay awake." He took her hand in his, squeezing it softly. He chose one question of his zillion to start with. Bombarding her got him nowhere. "How is your wound?" he asked.

Sirinity sighed when Caesar placed her back in warm blankets. She honestly had no idea how she had gotten there. Or even what had happened in the past 24 hours. They had been attacked by a huge thing that lived in the forest when it all went blank. Sirinity couldn't remember anything. The only thing that even popped into her mind when Caesar spoke was just a really cold feeling. But not just that. A frightened feeling for some reason, but what it was exactly she had no clue herself.
That was when Caesar touched her. The same warm feeling came upon her again. Her heart sped up and she moved her hand slowly over his. She didn't want him to leave and she definitaly did not want to go back to sleep eighter. Sirinity was not about to give up now that she was awake and could see Caesar again. That just wasn't her in a way. But she did have to wonder. What had happened when she had passed out that time? What was really going on? For some reason Siri knew something had went on since Caesar had bombarded her with so many questions.
"I wouldn't go to sleep again for all the money in the world." she mummbled back to him. She could tell he was scared but about what? That was on Sirinity's mind and it wasn't long before the silence utterly killed her. But before she said something Caesar pipped up first. Sirininty looked confused after he asked it though. He had asked her that earlier. And she couldn't remember. Like something was supposed to be there in her memory but it was just blank. She looked at him for a second before replying. "Caesar....I'm not....I mean I don't know what you are talking about." she finished looking into his eyes for any hints.

"Your wound." he repeated, his hand still upon her face. When she touched him, she sent shivers down his entire body, a sensation that he had never felt before for a woman. Adoration. But he pulled his fingers away from her cheek to point at her chest, where the scrap of shirt shown beneath her blouse. He didn't want to touch it now that she was awake. If she couldn't feel it, it was probably best to keep it that way. Out of pain for as long as they could. "The creature struck you." he said. "I washed most of the blood away and bandaged it, though it still bled. Maybe it has stopped by now." he spoke hopefully, running a hand through her hair and twirling the ends around his fingers lovingly. "How is your wound?" he asked a third time.

Sirinity could feel her heart speed up as Caesar touched her. But then something dark stirred inside her. Making Sirinity cringe for a moment. What was going on? That was when the pain returned. She hadn't felt it before but now she did. It struck her hard taking her breath away. And only then did the weakness come too. Whatever that darkness was it was what had been keeping Sirinity from feeling the pain and the Weakness. Sirinity's hand instantly slipped from Caesar's no longer able to hold itself up. Sirinity's breathin slowed. And it was hard to breathe. Siri couldn't answer caesar. Her eyes were shut tight from the pain.

Caesar's entire body stopped for a moment when he saw her face. It was like someone had shot him. Immediately he grabbed for the ice, holding it against her chest. With care, he pulled her back into his lap, softly rocking her, trying anything to distract her from her pain. He squeezed her shoulder and turned the ice, as if the other side of it might be colder. "It's okay." he told her quietly, as if it might comfort her. He didn't like seeing her suffering.

Sirinity could feel Caesar. But that was about it. Everything else around her had almost disappeared. All she could feel was the pain that ingulped her. She couldn't move, she couldn't talk. It was horrible. It hurt her chest to breathe. She tried desperately to open her eyes to see Caesar. But not even they responded to her. "caesar, caesar...." she thought. She didn't want to leave his side ever again. (give me a sec I want to post as Taylor)

Taylor had lost conciousness for a few moments. It was probably because when he had jumped back from excitement of the girl waking up. He had hit his head on something. Taylor blinked. Had he heard right? Had the girl called the man Caesar and the man in return called the girl Sirinity? But the man had said ..... Taylor was confused but one of the names was familiar to him. Sirinity? Sirinity? He had heard it before. That was when he remembered. Sirinity was supposed to be the Siren's first mate! Was it possible. This girl was she that same SIrinity? And if so the man, Caesar was he....possibly a Sea Hound? That would not be good. But Taylor owed Caesar and the girl his life. Even if it was true he wouldn't betray them. When he finally saw that the girl was in pain again he panicked. WHAT COULD HE DO! The only thing he was good at was ice. Wait.....that was it ice. "um....Caesar? Do you want me to help cool her down?" he asked slowly trying out the name on his tongue.

Caesar was too focused on Sirinity to hear the correct name being addressed to him. "No, no. Keep her warm. But I want to numb the wound. Ease the pain. But be careful for her heart and lungs, do let her get too cold." He moved, setting her down upon the blankets again, positioning himself near her head, letting Taylor try whatever his idea could be. He stroked her face with one hand, the other still pressing the ice to her chest. Caesar laid down, his face just above hers, upside down. Cautiously, he kissed her cheek that sent sparks through his blood stream.

Taylor nodded when Caesar said not to let her get to cold. Slowly Taylor knelt down where Caesar had the ice at. He put one hand over the other. "ok move the ice from there for a sec." he said. Then a wierd glow appeared from Taylor's hands. Something that looked almost like snow came from Taylor's hands. "I can probably numb the wound without getting her to cold but I have to apply just the right amount." he muttered to himself. He wasn't paying attention to Caesar if he was looking or not. He had to get this right. For SIrinity's sake and for his.

Caesar watched every move the boy made. "What the hell are you doing?" he demanded, wanting to know and know now exactly what this was. He wanted the pain to stop for her, but was that really worth her life. He pushed the boy's hands away. "Explain this magic." he demanded. He took the ice again and held it to her, resting his head beside hers. Caesar opened his mouth to whisper something, but no words came.

Taylor wasn't surprised when Caesar pushed him away. But he was probably helping a lot faster than any normal ice. The only difference was he was going directly at the wound where as ice would hit the hotest spots first. Taylor sighed. "this is what I am doing." he said. Taylor put his hands over top of each other again. But this time it was like he was holding something. The strange glow could still be seen from his closed hands. When Taylor opened his hands a rose, made of ice, with perfect detail sat in his hand. " i have a gift, a gift to control ice." he said before he moved his hand back over the rose as it disappeared. Taylor looked back at Caesar. "Do you believe me when I say I was only helping?"

He thought a moment. "...Yes." he said at last, moving the ice to let the boy help. Caesar watched though, intently attentive, trying to keep an eye on both the lad and Sirinity. She had been quiet. It scared him worse than if she would have screamed. "Are you alright?" he whispered into her ear. He squeezed her shoulder again. "Answer me." he pleaded. Caesar was shaking. Nervous.

Sirnity was quiet. The pain was hitting her with the force of an entire ship crashing into her. And man did that suck. The girl hated the feeling. It was as if all the world wanted her dead. But something kept her holding on. Something inside of her refused to let her give up. A strange strength was still inside her. She could feel the little bit of darkness that was still present in herself.
Sirinity felt the ice as it was pressed against her chest. It made her shudder a bit. But for some odd reason her body did not respond to the comand from her brain. It was as if her body couldn't. Like it had completely shut down. Sirinity didn't understand what was going on at all. It wasn't like a nightmare where once you knew it was a bad dream you could wake up. It was something way beyond that.
Sirinity struggled to regain control of her body but it just wouldn't respond. "What has happened to me?" she thought. Sirinity if she could would be shaking with fright at that moment. But something warm pulled her from the fear. She could feel Caesar near her. Even if she couldn't literally feel him she could sense his presence. "Caesar..." she thought.
Somehow Sirinity felt a lot better. She wasn't scared anymore. But she wasn't exactly having the time of her life. She only barely noticed that the two were having a conversation around her. She couldn't make out the words because she was so confused and so tired. But there were a few she did. And that was Ceasar's voice. She could just feel him shaking. He must of been scared out of his wits.
Sirinity wanted to tell him she was ok so bad. She wanted to just hug him and never let go. But she knew flat out that she wasn't going to be able to do that. So she did what she could. She summoned up whatever energy she had left in her body and tried out some words. At first nothing came out but that was why Sirinity was a Siren. She never gave up. Finally a few words escaped her lips. No matter how hard she had tried to avoid it she had to tell Ceasar the honest truth.
"C-Ceasar......I can't move." was all that was made out.

He sighed, greatful just to hear her voice. "Don't try to." He told her, stroking her face with a gentle hand. "Don't try to move. Just relax." Caesar whispered. Look at him. He barely knew anything about this woman, yet he cared for her. He couldn't say if she was right or left handed. But she had found her way into his heart and carved her name in its chambers. "What can you feel?" he asked. "Are you cold? Hot? Do you hurt?" Caesar wanted answers, he was scared of her silence. "Do you need anything? Food, water, a blanket? What can I do?" he wanted so badly to help. He wished that he had powers to control ice, like Taylor did, so that he might be able to aid her. But he was just Caesar, and being a lion was of no use to her now. He felt useless.
