Sirinity only smiled and looked at him. The warm feeling still coursed through her veins. They danced together and Sirinity enjoyed listening to Ceasar's soft voice. She smirked and answered his question with another. "Who knew a Sea hound could be so charming?" her eyes didn't dare part with his. Sirinity thought that if she looked away he would disappear forever. She spinned in his arm and smiled. "I trust you..." she promised.

He smiled at her. "Then charming I shall be!" he said happily, his voice full, happy, and deep. He spun and twirled her, slid over the ice, danced over the crystals, and kept her with him. He pulled her close, let her spin away again, connected only by the grasp of his hand in hers. When they came around again, he dipped her as he promised, and had to hide his pain that finally caught up with him. The bite of the Chupacabra seemed to have stretched as he used every muscle in his body to support her. He didn't need to use every muscle, no. She was actually quite light in his arms. But he wanted to show off, as he always did. This time, it had gotten him in trouble. He tried to hide the pain from her as he bent down and kissed her lips, only to come up with an unexpected gasp. He sat down on the blankets, taking her with him carefully. Ceasar took off his shirt, the wound making him feel hot, even though he was in an ice cave. It would pass soon, he hoped. He had known that it would come. Ice and adreniline could only block the pain for so long, and now he paid for it.

Sirinity's heart was beating very fast. The warm feeing in her veins only getting hotter. Thank god for the ice cave. Sirinity glided over the ice with Ceasar. It felt like a dream like nothing could ruin it. THey spun and danced with each other. As if there wasn't a care in the world. And then he kissed her again. It only made her head spin worse. But it was a good kind of spinning. Sirinity didn't want the night to end. But something was wrong. When Ceasar dipped her she saw pain touch his face. Sirinity was instantly worried. And let him pull her to the ground. "Ceasar what is wrong?" She asked a little bit of fear entering her voice only then did she remember. The bite from the Chupacabra. Sirinity had forgotten all about it and apparently so did Ceasar. Somewhere inside her Sirinity felt that this was her fault.

"No, no, no." Caesar said, looking up at her. He saw the guilt, no, felt it, when it crossed her eyes. "You aren't to blame for this." Since hiding obviously was out, since she had so quickly found his secret, he moved his leg, showing her the two puncture wounds, clearly visible because he wore shorts. Only slight blood came from them. It didn't run, or stream down his leg. It only scabbed when enough of it came from his veins. "It'll be alright." he told her. "It just hurts." The mucles on his face flinched again as it throbbed. He gripped his wound, mumbling something unheard. It stung.

Sirinity smiled at his comment. But it was sort of her fault. The Chupacabra was after her. Not him. And yet he got got hurt for it. Sirinity grimminced a bit at the wound. She hated the site of blood which was funny since she was a siren. But she usually didn't feel this sick. It was probably because it was Ceasar who was hurt. Sirinity looked up at him. Her eyes were soft. "Maybe we should head back. My Captain will be worrying and you might need to see someone about that prefably your captian." She said looking straight into his eyes.

"I'm not hurt that badly." he promised her. "I don't need to go back. Not yet." he laid down, keeping his body straight. It felt better this way, without his leg bent. "And besides, we've barely spent any time together." Not exactly true. But most of the time that they had spent, he was a lion. He wanted to spend some real time with her. His hand reached up, pulling her down next to him gently. His arm extended, so that she could rest on it like a pillow. His eyes went to the ceiling, admiring the crystal reflections like clouds. "How did we fall into this?" he chuckled as he looked upon the heart again.

Sirinity smiled at him. Man was he brave, or......utterly stupid. Hopefully it was the later. Sirinity laid down beside him also looking up to admire the crystals. They were all so beautiful and they reflected at the prettiest light. Siri thought about his question for a moment. "I honestly don't know. But I wouldn't change anything." she said looking up again. Her eyes landed on the heart, how ironic.

"A Siren and a Sea Hound..." he went on, thinking out loud. His head turned to look at her. Caesar smiled. "How... unusual we are." he chuckled a little. He brought his other arm across his body to hold her hand. Her soft fingers were like something godly against his skin. A romantic grin came over him, and he pulled her hand to his lips, kissing it gently. "Why do you enchant me, siren?" he asked sweetly. "Why do you swim through my heart so gracefully? Why do your eyes hypnotize me? Why do you love me so?" He kissed her hand again.

Sirinity looked at him as he held her hand. Every time he touched her the same warm feeling went up her body blocking out the cold ice. "I always thought unusual was a good thing. My mother always told me it is better to be yourself. She always said normal was over rated." Sirinity said laughing. But her eyes sadened a bit. "I really miss her..." Sirinity looked at Caesar almost missing his questions. "Why do you send such a fire into my veins that it blocks out everything that is cold? Why does my heart beat so fast when you touch me?" she returned grinning.

"Because you love me." he jeered, childish gleaming in his eyes. But he was serious. He knew that she loved him, and that's why she felt those things. Deep down, he knew that he loved her too. Even if this was only their second time seeing each other. But he was still too scared to say it. So instead, he caressed her face with his fingers. "I'm sorry about your mother." he said, his thumb stroking her lips as his palm lay against her jaw softly. "If it helps, I'm a good listener." he told her.

Sirinity looked down for a second. She hated talking about it and couldn't without crying. "I guess I could. But I don't know much." she said trying not to cry. "My mother was murdered. BY someone who controls ice. But that is all i know." she said. Though she could fell the tears running down her face.

"Hey. Hey now, it's alright." he said in a hushed voice, wiping her tears away softly. He kissed the corners of her eyes and held on to her tightly. "Tell me what your mother was like." he insisted. If he could get her thinking less about her mother's death, and more about the life, then maybe he could soothe the pain that she kept inside. Caesar helped her sit up, and offered her a bare shoulder to cry on. He pulled a blanket up around her for what little comfort it might also offer to her.

Caesar's warm skin made Sirinity feel a lot better. She felt the same warm feeling rise in her veins again. "She was the only person I really had when I was young. I always loved the stories she told at night. She would be my mom again then. Though during the day she was almost heartless. She thought that if the crew ever found out they would demote her. But I thought differently, but when I was going to tell her, .......she never came back." Sirinity pulled him closer felling his warm breath against her neck. She never wanted this moment to end.

He squeezed her shoulders comfortingly. "Tell me the stories." he pleaded. Slowly, he would pull her away from the thoughts of death. Caesar leaned back, pulling her onto him so that she could lay on his chest. His hand gently pressed her head to his shoulder, and he arranged her arms so that one hand lie on each side of his neck. The Sea Hound ran his fingers through her hair, trying to calm her. "Tell me the stories." he said again, whispering.

It was very warm and very comforting to be with him. Sirinity enjoyed being close to him. So it was easy for her to wrap herself in the old memories of her mother. "Well at night, especially on full moons mom would take me below deck. She would always make sure that no one was following so she could really get into the stories. It would always be so magical. She told the stories like she had actually lived them. Stories of the old days, of magical creatures, and of magic. But the story I always liked the best was the one about the strongest magic of all kind. The same magic Lilian and Elliot had. THe magic that bound them so tight they would of taken there ends again and again to see each other. It always amazed me." Sirintiy spoke. It was easy to hear the excitment and passion in her voice. "When she told those stories, it made me proud to belong to the Godspeed family."
