Alaya shook her head at the idea of spiting and things like that. "I rather learn how to use my fist than my voice. There is no way I can make it much lower. I will still try though. I could go as a mute" She said not really sure if it could work. It had to otherwise she would have to join the sirens.

Caesar shook his head. "Go as a mute, and they'll walk all over you. You don't have to go any lower. You just have to make it manly. Manly doesn't necessarily mean lower. Don't worry about it, you'll pick it up in time. I think that you'd better learn how to use a cutlass rather than your fists." he teased, reaching across and squeezing one of her arms. It was much smaller and weaker than any of the Sea Hounds' forearms. "A cutlass will do you better. And if you are quick, you can take on any man with it." Caesar told her. "Well, except for me, of course." he added proudly and with a smile.

Alaya shrugged. "I am quick and know how to use a knife. I will do almost anything to get out to the sea. I hope you are up to training" She said not really giving him much choice. She wanted this more than anything. She would do her best and find a way to become part of the sea hounds.

"Of course." he said, bowing slightly at the bar. Caesar could teach her. But it would have to be in secret. Almost as secret as his power. "We'll start tomorrow. First thing is to get you to look like a man." he said. "There's no way that you can go on the ship looking like that." he said, pointing to her women's clothing. "You'll be killed. As I told you before, women are bad luck on a ship."

Alaya put her hands on her hips. "The one thing I know is how to dress like a boy. I even have the cloths. They are so much easier to work in than the stupid dress" She said. Alaya prefers to ware pants and a shirt. A bandanna would hide her hair. She could never cut it but she could hide it.

Caesar looked at her skeptically. "I'll be the judge of that." he said. "Boys' clothes are different than a man's clothes. You'll have to be dressing like a Pirate, not a school lad." said the sailor. He wondered what kind of clothes she had already picked out. Anything pink would have to be thrown to the sea. Men didn't wear pink. There were rules. Unspoken rules, but rules none the less.

Alaya only smiled. "Well then you will see tomorrow" She stated. He would be surprised with how she would be dressed. She started putting things away from behind the counter. The bar would be closing soon.

"Yes sir!" Caesar exclaimed, raising his glass a little, looking at her over the top of it. He laughed a little in his mind. This would be some project, turning a lady landlubber into a Pirate. -No, a Sea Hound. The sparkle returned to his eyes that suggested he was thinking about something amusing. He pictured Alaya trying to walk on deck during a sea storm. The sailor let a little chuckle escape his throat. This was going to be fun.

Alaya rolled her eyes when he started to chuckle at her. He would be in for a shock when it came to the sea. She lived out in the sea for almost half her life, it was her friend. "Well I will see you tomorrow at the port here" She said as she finished cleaning. She was to head off soon and never come back.
(how about we start another thread. I can start it)
