As with everything, we must have rules. Every site has them, and they are only here to ensure that complete chaos does not break loose. Read them and live by them.

- #1 There is a minimum requirement of at least six decent sized sentences. "The dog ran." does not count. We can all write stronger sentences than that. This rule helps out the other member when he/she is writing, so that they can make a more creative piece of work. This, in turn, helps you. It's a win-win kind of thing. R
- #2-3 No god-modding or power-playing.
God-modding is what occurs when a character seems invincible or unbeatable. They may have too many powers, or repeatedly squirm their way out of impossible situations. It is also considered god-modding if your character slips away from his/her original outline in the biography. (ie: [Outline:A poor beggar who has nothing to his name and no powers] IC Post: Beggar becomes lost Prince and suddenly has power over ice and fire and nature and just about everything else.] O- Exceptions: If you do grow bored of your character and want to change something about him/her, or simply would like to give him a power or a few powers, just pm me and I'd be happy to make the change for you. No problem.
Power-playing is when you take control of another person's character. (ie: Your character is Ralph, the other member's character is Charly: Ralph asked Charly if he wanted to go fishing, and he was pleased to see that Charly nodded.) Y - #4 This site is designed for people of a mature mind. This means that love-scenes are permitted, but please, put a warning for other readers in the title. A simple [R] after the main title would suffice. Also, do not over do it. Highly graphic and descriptive writing is distasteful, and can easily get a little too carried away. If there is a thread containing things that are over-descriptive, I will pm you a warning to change it. If it isn't modified within 48 hours, the thread will be deleted. There is always the possibility of younger viewers, and we have to respect them.
- #5 When writing OOC things into your posts, please put the words in parenthesis ( ) and move it to the top or bottom of your post so that it doesn't mingle with the actual text.
- #6 No chat-speak. This is the kind of language that you would use while texting or on chatrooms or whatever. Things like "b4" for "before" or "u" for "you" or "2" for "two/too/to" are not allowed. A
- #7 Violence is permitted, but you must have the permission of the character's owner to kill off a character.
Out Of Character - #8 As far as swearing goes, I'm okay with it. But please, do not use it when it isn't necessary, and don't use it profusely. There are some words that are not allowed.
- F*ck
- Wh*re
- N****r
- Anything else that matches or is close to the level of these.
I'm not big on swearing, so I don't know all of the words. Please, nothing sexual or racist. L - F*ck
- #9 As slightly stated in the swearing rule, there is to be absolutely NO racism or discrimination of any kind. If I catch you doing it (and if you are doing it, I WILL catch you), you will be banned. Period. I have zero tolerance for such things. If a red wolf, a white wolf, a brown wolf, a black wolf, a gray wolf, a yellow wolf, a spotted wolf, and a rainbow-colored wolf can all work together as a pack and get along, so can people.
- #10 R-E-S-P-E-C-T Respect. It's a strong thing. Use it. Respect everyone on this site. Even if you don't like them. It's not my fight, nor anyone else's fight. We don't want to hear about it. T
- #11 Be tolerant and patient with people. Do not nag people to post in your topic. Wait two days, and if there is still no response, politely ask them to post.
- #12 Be active. Please try to be on at least once a week. I will host activity checks and contests, and I wouldn't want you to miss out. If you know that you are going to be gone for more than a week, post in the Going Away board.
- #13 Forgive people. Sometimes someone can say something, and the other person might take it in a completely different meaning than it was implied. It makes everything flow smoother if there is minimal tension between people.
- #14 Please create a new account when you are planning on making multiple characters. Also, characters are unlimited, but don't make more than you can handle. Y
- #15 Change your profile name to your Character name after it has been accepted.
- #16 No smiting people's Karma. Due to the fact that Karma is now tied in with gold coin, it wouldn't be fair to smite anyone, because by doing so you would be taking away their hard earned doubloons.
